Becker Schilling® Rudders for 153k shuttle tankers ordered by HHI

7^th January 2019: Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has placed an order with Becker Marine Systems for the delivery of Becker Schilling® Rudders with KSR (King Support Rudder) for two 153k shuttle tanker newbuildings. Both tanker vessels will be delivered to the Norwegian shipping company Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers. This order highlights the excellent cooperation between HHI and Becker in regards to the delivery of sophisticated manoeuvring systems. Additionally, this order underlines the very good relationship with Knutsen, who have specified Becker high-lift rudders as manoeuvring systems for the majority of their shuttle tanker fleet.
