We are looking for someone to strengthen our COBRA Compact Batter Rack department where we are developing battery systems for the maritime branch in our Hamburg-Harburg office at the earliest possible date:

Product Certifier (m/f)

Your duties:

  • Assignment and safeguarding of necessary international testing and certifications for battery systems with various classification societies
  • Assignment and safeguarding of environmentally relevant product tests and regulatory permits
  • Examination and maintenance of the performed tests and environmental standards for up-to-dateness and validity
  • Compilation of declaration of conformity and technical documents
  • Safeguarding of the correct labels of products
  • Close collaboration with our development department, hardware suppliers and test laboratory
  • Setting up the QM system for the COBRA product in cooperation with the QM department


Your profile:

  • You have successfully finished academic studies in a technical area or are a technician with relevant work experience as an electrician/technician
  • Experience in the maritime industry, in the international field and with international classification societies
  • Experience in the area of product tests and certification as well as relevant environmental standards
  • You function in a self-motivated and self-dependent manner
  • Team spirit and great operational readiness
  • Very good English skills (written and verbal)

Testingenieur/ Mitarbeiter Prüffeld (m/w)


Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Sie sind für die Fertigungstests von Teilkomponenten und des Gesamtsystems vor Auslieferung des Produktes zum Kunden (FAT) verantwortlich
  • Sie übernehmen die Durchführung und Begleitung von F&E-Versuchen für Produktentwicklungen
  • Sie entwickeln Testkonzepte, Spezifikationen, Versuchsaufbauten und die Programmierung einfacher Testroutinen
  • Sie führen Messreihen durch und übernehmen die Aufbereitung und Darstellung der Ergebnisse
  • Sie unterstützen bei der Produktzertifizierung und Qualitätssicherung


Ihr Profil:

  • Sie haben eine Ausbildung zum Techniker im Bereich Elektrotechnik erfolgreich abgeschlossen und mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung vorzugsweise mit maritimen Komponenten
  • Sie haben Erfahrung mit dem Aufbau und der Verdrahtung von Schaltschränken im maritimen Umfeld und sind idealerweise mit den Arbeitsweisen auf Schiffen und/oder Weften vertraut
  • Durch Ihre bisherigen Aufgaben ist Ihnen die Fehlersuche in elektrischen Systemen geläufig und Sie kennen sich mit der Bedienung und idealerweise auch mit der Programmierung von SPS-Systemen aus
  • Die Schaltberechtigung für Mittelspannungsanlagen bringen Sie mit
  • Sie überzeugen durch eine selbständige und zielorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind von Vorteil

We are looking for someone to strengthen our quality management department in our Hamburg-Harburg office at the earliest possible date:

Welding Engineer (m/f)


Your duties:

  • Provide support during the manufacturing and development of maneuvering and energy saving systems
  • You are particularly responsible in the area of welding processes and inspections according to our specifications and guidelines
  • You will be responsible to adhere to the classification society rules (such as DNV GL and LR)
  • You are in charge of supervising the manufacturing as defined by quality control, especially in Asia
  • Compile welding sequence plans as well as welding and inspection instructions
  • Preparation, consultation and mounting supervision of welding at our national and international manufacturing sites
  • Provide operating experience feedback within the organization
  • Generate and review documentation and inspection reports of the welded work
  • Support the installation project manager and the site supervisor by answering questions and as well as consulting on the use of standards and class specifications
  • Training and scheduling of welding employees for the welding examination
  • Preparation and monitoring of the welding execution of external installation companies
  • You will also have to establish quality assurance documentation in conjunction with the design department.


Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed your technical studies and possess a certificate of additional training as an international welding engineer
  • You also have numerous years of work experience in shipbuilding, ideally in Asia
  • Moreover, you possess resilient knowledge of the rules of several classification societies
  • Experience in quality and risk management
  • Willingness to go on business trips and building site operations around the world (40% to 60%) as well as multicultural experience are expected of you
  • A good command of English, fluency in German and high travel availability top off your profile
